Tomáš Shejbal
Web developer and content creator
I do everything possible around WordPress websites.
I work for freelancers, cultural projects and interesting small businesses.
Specialty: extracting the maximum from the content management system, empathy and relaxed communication without unnecessary technical jargon.
I don't like waste so I blog about it, write books and go nomadic in winter. In summer I ride a scooter. Even beyond the district borders. I run year-round. I also give presentations.

How do I work?
Deeply. 🙂 That's why I prefer asynchronous communication methods (email, Notion).
I check email once a day. I'm approaching my own version of inbox-zero.
I use instructional videos extensively and make screen recordings. If there's no other choice, I try to schedule virtual calls at the beginning/end of work blocks. Here's a link to my secretary.
I love Ubuntu. For twenty years now. Everything I create is made on it.

What tools/applications can't my day go without?
Notion, WordPress, Oxygen, BitWarden, Spotify, XnView, Double Commander, Claude.
And a week?
VS Code, FileZilla, RobotAlp, Loom, Canva, Wappalyzer, MailerLite and Site Control (my own workspace for website management).
How do I manage my time?
In Notion. From notes, through project management (kanban, timeline) to time tracking on tasks and project communication with clients.
Note: time tracking in Notion isn't default. But it can be easily set up.
Any work hack?
Vertical mouse. And... Notion. 🙈😀 I have templates, notes in it, it's my second brain. At work I sip mate and listen to music. I write simple structured emails and create clear instructional videos.
Meetings in person or virtually?
Virtually. 😉
